ABOUT THE SHOW
Welcome to the Atlanta Ad Club's 2025 American Advertising Awards Competition!
The American Advertising Awards® (AAA) Show is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) competitions. The mission of the AAA competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
Conducted annually by the AAF, the local American Advertising Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win an AAA – recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local AAA winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District AAA winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage level. Entry in your local AAF chapter competition is the first step toward winning a national AAA.
Entering the American Advertising Awards supports the entire advertising industry, because the AAF and its local and district affiliates use the proceeds to enhance advertising through programs such as public service, internships, advocacy groups, advertising education, and consumer awareness.
How Do I Win An ADDY Award?
Judging
An unbiased panel of nationally recognized judges evaluate the winning work through a online-based, blind scoring system.
A GOLD ADDY award is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category.
Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a SILVER ADDY award. The number of awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on the relative quality of work in that category on a 100-point scoring system.
Entries scoring 80/100 points or higher will receive an award.
Note: Effective 2024, BRONZE awards will no longer be given in accordance with our national chapter's bylaws.
In Addition: If there is no entrant in any category to score high enough to win an award (silver or gold), the category will not be featured in the awards program. AAC will notify winners of their awards but will not disclose what was won until the awards program.

2025 PROFESSIONAL & STUDENT CALL FOR ENTRIES
Professional Entrants
This competition is open to all creative services and industry suppliers including but not limited to advertising, graphic design, photographers, printers, newspapers, radio, television, web, marketing, and communication professionals as well as students studying in these areas. The submission must be work created in the Atlanta and surrounding areas market in 2024. No spec work may be entered.
Student Entrants
The AAF Student American Advertising Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed especially for college students. Work entered at the local level can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.
Applicants must be enrolled full or part-time in an accredited educational institution created in the Atlanta Area. Student interns are eligible to enter. Submit work developed specifically for this competition or from previous projects or student contests (work must be created while the entrant is a student not employed in the advertising industry during the 2024 year).
PROFESSIONAL PRICES:
- Single entry price: $200 for Members* and $225 for Non-Members
- Campaign entry price: $225 for Members* and $250 for Non-Members
After January 1st, there will be a $40 late fee added
to the prices for Professional submissions

- Single entry price: $35
- Campaign entry price: $40
