ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking for an Account Manager that, first and foremost, is energized about a people first environment that prioritizes clients, colleagues and community – as well as working with likeminded individuals resolute on preserving that very culture.  It is this environment that affords each employee at Sassafras the opportunity to do those things she/he is most passionate about.  This team member handles the day-to-day operations of client projects, including briefings, scope development and timeline management to ensure on time and on budget delivery. She/He is responsible for vendor management, status meetings, and presentation development for internal and external meetings. She/He ensures all elements are ready for client review and will participate in client meetings. Account Managers lead internal communication with agency team on all projects. The AM role collaborates with team members to ideate and concept ideas based on client requests.

An AM at Sassafras is someone looking to own the project lifecycle and have client interaction and engagement.  She/He orchestrates the cross-functional teams to ensure excellent delivery of projects. She/He has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle a variety of clients and deliverables at one time, stays organized and makes good, sound decisions quickly.  She/He also has a passion for brand marketing and stays on top of clients’ business as well as industry trends.

An AM at Sassafras:

Possesses stellar project management and communication skills

Manages up and understands when to escalate concerns.

Is able to work with a variety of team members and has the ability to identify growth opportunities with current and potential clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

4-5 years relevant agency experience

Possess strong work ethic, honesty and trustworthiness

Time management and organizational skills

Communication skills – written, verbal and listening

Skilled in PowerPoint, overall understanding of social media marketing

Ability to multi-task while paying strict attention to the details
